The 2006 season was the worst in the history of this team, dating back to 1994. We started out 5-1, then lost six of our last eight games.
We were beset by injuries, absences and inconsistencies. Perhaps our age is beginning to show, with our average age nearing 40 now. There were many younger teams in the league this year. Again, Mose was our best player both offensively and defensively. We had a major power shortage all season and a lack of clutch hitting. Several close losses killed us down the stretch as we failed to make the playoffs.
