Fall Youth Concert - Welcome to the Symphony.
While not our first concert on this stage, it will be the first as our home stage. The concert is dedicated to the students of the Hamilton Sussex School district. It will have many light classical works with explanations, attempting to engage students in the sounds of the orchestra, the stories of the composers and the styles of various eras and countries. Repertoire will even include some movie favorites like Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, and Harry Potter. Program Flier

The Menomonee Falls Symphony Orchestra (formerly known as the Milwaukee Catholic Symphony Orchestra from 1942 to 1998) has a tradition of quality music making.
The objectives of the Orchestra are to:
- Promote appreciation of classical symphonic music for audiences and playing musicians.
- Provide an opportunity for young artists and professional soloists to appear in concert with symphonic accompaniment.
- Make available an educational and an enjoyable opportunity for you, your children and your friends.
- Open membership in this community orchestra to all capable adults. Auditions are held in September.

Meet the Maestro |
Michael F. Kamenski received his Master's Degree in symphonic and operatic conducting from the Conservatory of Music in Warsaw, Poland. Following his studies, he was appointed Music Director of the Conservatory Orchestra in Warsaw and guest conducted numerous orchestras including the Warsaw Philharmonic. He premiered a Polish Opera by Kaminski in the State Opera House of Warsaw.
- Locally, Mr. Kamenski has conducted the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra. He has participated in conducting workshops with various conductors including Daniel Barenboim.
- Additionally, he has worked as a Staff Arranger at Hal Leonard Publishing and arranged and orchestrated a symphonic ballet for Les Grands Ballets Canadiens de Montreal.
- Currently, he is Director of Liturgy and Music at St. Sebastian Church in Milwaukee and serves as Assistant Professor of Music Theory at Alverno College in Milwaukee since 1992. He was recently commissioned to compose the Alma Mater for Alverno College.
- Mr. Kamenski has been Director and Conductor of the MFSO since 1987, is married to Sherri and has three boys, Martin, Brian and Paul.

- Application - Musician's Application.
- Auditions - All musicians from the greater Milwaukee Metro area are welcome. Auditions will be held on Mondays in September after rehearsals. Please be prepared to play a selection of your choice at the audition. The MFSO performs five scheduled concerts per season, both classical and pops.
