Manual Leather Shift Boots:

The leather boot for the 4 and 5 speed manual transmission is glued to a new steel ring with 4 welded in steel studs.  Includes washers and nylock nuts.  The boot is a replica of the original OEM boot.  The base is slightly larger to fit the factory opening better than the original boot.     

Also available: 1" shorter boots with softer leather, for those who have shortened the OEM shifters or the 1984 Fiero.

Automatic Leather Shift Boots:

There were two styles of automatic shift boots used in the Fiero.  One style has an elastic band in the bottom.  The other style has a plastic ring that the boot is glued to and then snaps onto the console.   You can convert to an elastic boot from the plastic ring boot, if desired.  In my opinion the glue on the boot gives a slightly better appearance.  These boots are very thin and much more supple than the OEM boots, allowing you to shift effortlessly through all the gears without binding!
