This fairy rides on the back of a snowy owl when the winter wind blows too hard for her little fairy wings. Together they soar through the clouds putting sparkle into snowflakes with a wave of her snow wand. It is her job to blanket the ground with snow. The snow insulates the bushes and hibernating animals from the extreme cold of winter. She is actually a sculptor at heart and means no harm when she places a well formed snow drift in the driveway.
