Current Events

Ah, ye wishes information on current events? Woe has befallen our land once again. From Anor, ill tidings sweep our fair nation. King Christian is dead! Prince Benjamin is dead! Prince Brion is nowhere to be found! Where was once a stable nation with a clear line of Succession, is now a murky picture of a realm in chaos.

In Khosht and Tyrnal, hosts are rising under the banner of Lord Terrance Lysander, the Duke of Khosht. Many of the smaller lords are rallying to his banner in hopes that in supporting his bid for the throne, they will suplant their peers. In Knor, Lord Alain Lancaster, Duke of Lancaster has been elected Steward of the Anorian Throne, holding it for Prince Brion's return.

To the south, Lord Edward Stuart, Duke of Richmond is arming his city for the inevitable attack that separatists will launch at him. A staunch supporter of the Crown, Duke Edward will fight to the last man to keep the Crown in the House of Anorian. Lord Karl Stormfriend, Count of the Wildmarch, was chased out of Tyrnal by Lysander Separatists. The days grow dark as Anor Noble arms himself against Anor noble. Civil War is brewing.

To the east, rumors circulate of a war brewing in the Eastern Empire, as the City-State of Corynth has been liberated by an unknown host. What strange tidings could this bring?

In the North, dreadfull news from Kyric. Fell murders of a high justice and the great hero Arnold Smythe have stunned the city-state that has been the rock of steadfastness over time. The Black Staff Brotherhood has been on the rise, roogen executions have climbed. A new theives' guild has arisen to challenge the one that has been there for centuries. Unrest has come to the Great City.

Trouble in the town of Elfton? Now recruiting for a new 3rd Edition game. "

When you were growing up in the little village of Elfton you always dreamt of glory and wealth; of getting away from the miniscule town that barely makes most maps. Several years ago, you left to go to school or apprentice with the master that would teach you your craft. You sought your fortune outside the hamlet in the vast world surrounding the Duchy of Anorian. Years have passed and now, after you have found your calling and really gotten your life going where you wanted it, a messenger has come to you. Elfton needs you. Your skills are needed to save the tiny village from unknown peril. Being an intrepid adventurer you, of course, head home for the mission. As you enter the town, you see the cozy Wanton Wench Inn in the center of town and feel a soft pang of nostalgia. The town has changed much in the years you've been gone, yet somehow it's still the same. Except, there is something wrong here..... "

Currently, I am running two groups. My new Capri game runs on Thursday nights.This is a live IRC Game, and has one opening left.

The Second Group, is Anor 2000. This game runs Saturday nights on IRC. It also has one opening.

The Jade Blades are taking a much needed break while the political unrest in the Anorian Civil War starts to straighten out.

Adventurers Logs

The Band of Beryl and Laurel has been placed on hold due to DM burnout in this game. However, I've been running some solo stuff with the players. Currently, Beryl has learned that her late husband, Nym Illystryn, is not dead. She has been trying to get some sort of order in the Realms of Anor, though has found evil at every turn. She is currently leading a small army through the Bywater Pass to try to aid the town of Bywater from Orc attacks.

Much has happened to the Kids from Mallory Island. They formed the Jade Blades and went hunting for Orcs. Instead they found the dread necromancer Sandro. Sandro soiled Kellie, and then sent a storm at the party. Peter died trying to save Kellie from death, to the shock and dismay of his comrades. The storm sent the heroes to a strange land called Earth, during a strange gathering called GenCon. Thanks to friends they made at the bank trying to change cash, they were able to adjust somewhat. Tethys has been struck blind by some fould magic.

While on Earth they have been following clues to Sandro that they have found in a place called London. They have found out there are orcs here, despite claims to the contrary. Suddenly, a flying dragonfly-like ship arrives with a crew of gnomes, and a young woman named Audrey. Audrey it seems is from this world and had been lost in Anor for two years. She was hired by Lord Stormfriend to lead the gnomes through the spheres of wildspace to find them. Audrey has decided to return to Anor, having decided that it is a better place for one with her gifts.

There upon they have returned to Anor only to find themselves in the midst of a civil war. Currently, the Blades are in the Duchy of Llyn, visiting the father of Blades' Member, Jenna Foxclaw. Her father is the Duke of Llyn and they are trying to warn him of the pending attack by a large army with Dragon support. Once in Llyn, Jenna and Alaryn were married, and the party has temporarily disbanded to persue private interests.
