I worked at Pueblano in 1978. A Ranger and crew came in one day and reported a fire on Wilson Mesa, so I hiked up there to get bearings to call it in on the radio. Below are pictures that I took of the fire. Only a few acres were lost but there were sections that were fairly intense. The pictures were scanned from old slides so I think some of the quality has been lost.
