In 1990, I was the Foreman for the Trail Crew Maintenance within Philmont's Conservation Department. When I got my contract I was a little disappointed that I didn't get a backcountry position, but all turned out well because this was one of the best summers I ever had at Philmont. My only regret was not taking more pictures.
