"It's A No-Brainer!!"

Woodsman Jim Beeman from Fountain City Wi has worked to organize the      Hiawatha Sustainable Woods Cooperative.
He understands the process of growing trees, harvesting logs, sawmilling  boards, drying lumber, manufacturing furniture, and selling wood in value-added forms.

"A landowner cooperative makes sense, you can get a fair deal and have the work done right!" says Beeman.  "Once you see the whole picture - Its a no-brainer."

Hiawatha SWC is currently working to purchase land and build their own value-added processing facility.  Their 60 members own 7,000 acres of land.  For information on HSWC contact:
