Roger's partner Jim Monroe picks up the logs with a Franklin pre-hauler and carries the wood up to the road.  Jim can haul about three cords at a time, so four loads make a semi truck load.  Pulpwood and sawbolts are sorted out for different markets.  The pulpwood is shipped 110 miles to the paper mill at Wis. Rapids.
