Dan (left) and Tim (right) Erdman invited Grebe to evaluate Timbergreen's forest management work on the companies land.  Sustainable Management of large high value crop trees was seen.

After driving through Dane and Iowa counties, Grebe told the group of Erdman corporate executives, "What I can see here - is there is no long term forest management - in your forests.  In Germany, we have managed our timber for 250 years."  After viewing Timbergreen's management work on the Erdman forest begun in 1988, Grebe said, "You have made a good start here on your land, keep working in this way."

Forest Stewardship Council Certification is the new global standard for future oriented timber management.  Timbergreen Forestry has passed the detailed assessment of the Smart Wood Program of the The Rain Forest Alliance.  SmartWood has said Timbergreen Forestry meets the requirements for entering the FSC Certification of Sustainable Forestry program.
