Ben is a traditional style rod puppet. Tiny rods are connected to his hands and head which are operated by the puppeteer. While Ben is made of space age materials such as thermal plastic (body), Lexan (joints) and spring steel (rods), his ancestors are ancient and can be found in many early cultures around the world.
