The inventor of the fireplace from the Reed Marionettes production of "Science & Puppets 2000"
This character is a combination of rod/mouth puppet. The puppeteer has one hand inside the character's head and works the mouth while the other hand works rods attached to the puppet's hands. This puppet's legs and feet can also be connected to the puppeteer resulting in a character which can run, hop and dance!
