In November of 2000, my grandfather passed away at the age of 92.
Two years before that, he bought the first computer that he'd ever touched. He bought it and taught himself how to use it to keep in touch better with his family. As a memorial to my Grandpa, I put some pictures on the web from his Memorial Service at First Presbyterian Church in Maitland, FL.

Assuming all the data is correct:
- Elder William BREWSTER of the Mayflower, was my 9th great grandfather.
- Isaac ALLERTON of the Mayflower, was my 8th great grandfather.
- Former President Zachary TAYLOR was my 1st cousin, 5x removed.
- Former President James MADISON was my 2nd cousin, 5x removed.
- President Franklin Delano ROOSEVELT was my 7th cousin, 2x removed.
- The first five relationships seen here all hinge upon my 4th great grandfather,
William TAYLOR. Read his obituary by clicking on his name.
Would love some help finding him, or any other records about him.
- Former First Lady Grace Anna (GOODHUE) COOLIDGE was my 6th cousin, 2x removed.
- President Rutherford Birchard HAYES was my 6th cousin, 5x removed.
Current relationships I'm looking for:
- Looking for info on Rev. John FORE who m. his cousin Anna FORE probably Henrico Co., VA
- I know Thomas Jefferson CARTER was b. in Cartersville, VA, but haven't found any reference
to him in any research I've done. Anyone know of him? I think his father was Jesse Carter,
but not sure. If Jesse was his father, could it be the Jesse CARTER that is referenced in
the THOMAS CARTER BIBLE Of "Green Rock" Pittsylvania Co., VA, where Jesse CARTER b. 11/30/1770?
Speaking of Bibles, here's the Family Bible of
Robert and Mary (FORE) MARTYR.
- Rolon REED b. 1804 m. Elvira CASE b. 1804. They had 8 children, but I know nothing of where Rolon
or Elvira came from, but were in MI when 4th daughter born..
- Peter CONKLIN b. 1801 m. Lucy JOINER b. 1810. They had 7 kids, And I finally found them in the Ancestral File at the LDS Family History Center.
- I've got Amos Buel JONES b. 16 Sep 1825 Bennington, NY. m. Sarah COLBURN b. Canada, d. in Grand Rapids, MI (dau. of Phineas COLBURN b. 1799 VT, and Sally LEWIS(LOUIS?) b. 1804. One of their sons wrote some poetry
- The Dinsdale family settled in SW Wisconsin in the 1800's. The most active branch of this family seems to be descended from John Dinsdale. My family descends from John's sister Elizabeth.
