Thor has always been gentle and amiable.  He was the only one of his litter of seven that remained in the enclosure with three adults. He obeyed the "wolf rules". When it was time for him to take over the alpha position, he democratically moved to that position. He has the appearance of grandeur, and yet has a playfulness about him that he usually only displays when no stranger is around. Frequently he lies on top of the rock, as if he is surveying his domain.
