Jim's autobiography or  Caroline's autobiography We hope you find these interesting.

Amateur Radio

Are you an amateur radio operator?  Are you interested in the hobby, but are not yet licensed?  These next few sites should be of interest to you then.
First, you may be interested in
 The Milwaukee Repeater Club
Mrc has their repeater on 146.91, and has a PL tone of 127.3.  From the main page, you can get info on current club members, the standard Sunday night announcements, and link to other sites around the area.  We're sure that you will find something of interest here on this page.

Next, try
 The QRZ homepage
Here you will find a very comprehensive list  where you can search by name or call.
You can also browse through their online store and purchase call sign novelties or other interesting items.  Some of the calls listed also have biography information that can be read.  E-mail and web addresses can also be found here.  Enjoy the site.
Next, if you're interested in different FCC forms and/or other things, visit  The Federal Communications Commission; (FCC)
Have you ever heard of the RAIN report?  What about Newsline?  Do you have Real Audio capabilities?  If so, check out  the weekly RAIN report   Here you can listen to archives of past RAIN reports, or the current one.  Also, from that page, you can listen to the weekly newsline program.  Both of these programs have interesting and informative information about ham radio and the like.  Enjoy it.

Information for the Blind

If you're visually impaired, live in the state of Wisconsin, and have a few minutes, you might find this next site interesting.  If you know of one that isn't listed here, please let one of us know so that it can be added to the list.
The Wisconsin Council of the Blind     has many services.  Check out their site to see what they can do for you.  Whether you want information on independent living aids, or if you just want to see what kinds of games you can play, The Council has it.  We hope you enjoy it.
The Visually Impaired Data Processing INC. page has lots of information on  how the blind work with computers, and how they can be used.  If you're interested,  click here to go to the VIDPI page.   We're sure you'll find it informative.
The  American Counsel of the Blind  is one more resource for information concerning the blind.  Check it out.

Fun Stuff

Do you like games?  Do you like to listen to interesting wave files?  Check out these next few links.
Jim Kitchen is a blind computer user who has written several very good games for use with speech synthesizers.  They are DOS-based, and they take full advantage of soundcards and/or your computer's internal speaker for the excellent sound effects.
Click here to visit Jim's site.

We've really enjoyed the games.
And now, for a really neat song about being
trapped on the internet.

Friendly Sites

Now, you may be interested in visiting some of our  other friend's web pages.

 Chad Nelson
went to high school with Jim.  He has many links to other interesting sites that might be of interest to you.
 Chuck Buggs
is a high school friend of Caroline.  He has designed not only his own web page, but also others around the Janesville area.  From his page, you can connect to these other sites and see what he's done.

Conclusion
Well, we hope you have enjoyed this page, and the links on it.  We will be adding links as we continue to build this page, but this is what we're starting with at this time.  Again, please feel free to submit sites, or to say hello.  So long until next time.
