We saw the UW Band several times, this is a photo from a foggy night pep rally at the Santa Monica Pier.

The Rose Parade was really something we saw more beautiful flowers and floats than you can imagine. We took pictures of nearly all the floats, but this one was our favorite. It was from Thailand and the costumes the people were wearing and the colors were wonderful.

Finally, we went to the Rose Bowl. I wasn't all that excited about seeing the game before we left for Los Angeles, but it was the highlight of this trip. It was the most exciting football game I have ever seen. It was equally exciting whether the team was on offense or defense. For those who didn't watch the game the Badgers WON! 38 to 31

Here is the awesome UW Marching Band! They really looked good at halftime, nice straight rows and sounded terrific. The UCLA band was really a joke by comparison, they shuffled their feet along like a high school band, and could barely be heard. Also you can notice how many Badger fans were there by the amount of red in the stands. It was red from one end zone all the way over to where the picture was taken.
