Featuring McKenna Ryan’s patterns, the Storybook Farm collection. Each month make a fabulous farm scene to be either a stand alone wall hanging or part of a larger piece. This series uses fusing and cutting techniques. Kits are available using luxurious batik fabrics. Since each month a new block is done you can join this series of classes at any time and take as many as you like.

Beginning piecing-create a row by row sampler in class covering all the basics from fabric selection, rotary cutting, accurate measuring, pinning, and pressing techniques, and a few special tricks. Small class size gives you individual hands-on instruction. Finished quilt size is 38“ x 48”

If you like fabric bowls you will love fabric boxes. Learn how to make a basic fabric box. This is perfect for those who have “things” they don’t know where to put. This is a great gift for anyone with a desk (teacher).
BEGINNING ENGLISH SMOCKING-WENDY

Student will learn to prepare pre-pleated fabric for English smocking, and basic smocking stitches. You will receive two pleated fabric pieces and a needle in the kit. One smocked piece will be made into a pillow.
BEGINNING MOHAIR BEAR CLASS-WENDY

You will learn basic bear construction while making an adorable 11” bear. Learn pattern layout on mohair, cutting, sewing, sculpting the face embroidering the nose and finishing. Kit includes pattern and materials to make this bear. Kit will be provided at class. Tools may be purchased in class.
BEGINNING KNITTING ,SCARF- LINDA

This class is designed for new knitters or those who need a refresher. You will learn casting on, knitting, purling, increasing, decreasing, casting off and making fringe. You will make a fashionable scarf using two strand knitting technique with beginning stitches.
SQUARE OF THE MONTH-RUTH

Fee: $10.00 each month
Each month for ten months you will make a square using a new technique. At the end of the class these squares will be made into an afghan.
BEGINNING & BEYOND BEGINNING WEAVERS-JUDY

Beginner or refresher course for 4 harness loom. Students will learn to warp a loom, basic weave structures and weave a sample. Beyond beginners will plan a project with a pattern weave. Schedule is arranged so students may work at home. Loom & weaving tools required. Some looms are available. $65.00 does not include materials.
BEGINNING WEAVING ON RIGID-HEDDLE LOOM-MYRNA
Sunday: Jan. 15, 22, &29 2:00-4:00pm

Beginner or refresher course on rigid-heddle looms. Students will learn to warp a loom and weave as lovely table runner/stole/wall hanging. Loom and weaving tools required. The first class we’ll select weft yarn, warp yarn will be provided.
FELTED PENNY ORNAMENTS-CAROL

Make these fabulous penny wool felt ornaments in time for Christmas. Kit includes everything necessary to make six ornaments: precut fabric, thread, embellishments.

2nd Thursday of every month: 9-11AM
Meets in our classroom for fellowship and service projects: baby quilts for local police departments and “SNUGGLES” quilts, handmade gifts as fund raiser for WI Museum of Quilts & Textiles gift shop. They are always looking for donations of fabrics and batting.
