Dmitry Myaskovsky is one of the most interesting and promising artists I've encountered. A mere 23 years old and 10 years out of Kiev, Ukraine, he now lives in Milwaukee. The sheer complexity of his drawings boggles my mind -- this is one of the things I attach, in a positive way, to the otherwise awful term "Post Modern"-- that being a huge slew of references literally flying off the page. You immediately know that these are lasting works with eye value, that is, they will catch your eye everytime you pass them and offer up something new. / Drawings - page two / Group Drawings / Paintings - page one / Paintings - page two / Paintings - page three
