DAIRYLAND DIVAS and DANDIES

Every three years in the month of March, since 2000, KM art has been privileged to host an exhibition of the photographs of Francis Ford, one of the finest photographers in the midwest, and one of America's premier portraitists. His subject for each of these exhibits is Jack Eigel, a self-proclaimed Dairyland Dandy. Jack IS fun, a burden he gleefully carries for the rest of us. Endless costumes, endless scenarios. Endless opportunites for Francis Ford to practice his artistry. For a photographer known for his exactitude, for attention to detail, for pure photographic skills, these exhibits are a chance to put those skills to the highest test: spontaneous excellence. For Jack and his friends, these let-loose moments are the stuff of life.

And this time there is a book to document it all.
