KM art is extremely proud to present the "sophomore" solo exhibition of the work of Amanda Proeber. This extraordinary and daring artist consistently breaks new ground, addressing issues of sensuality in unusual ways that exhibit complete mastery of her materials. "Idle Splendor" follows her very successful debut in "Red As Eros" in 2001, which placed her work in several important private and corporate collections. Amanda Proeber is an artist that future generations will be viewing in museums around the world.

In this body of work she continues her explorations of applied materials such as nylon flowers, expanding that theme of mode with faux jewels and fabric edging, including small drapes of material supplementing her method of slightly off-sized diptych panels. The effects are stunning.
