During 1998, CWL developed a new series of business titles for McGraw-Hill—Briefcase Books. There are six titles in the initial group of books. They range from 180 to 224 pages and deal with basic management topics. They are written by authors prominent in their fields. But more than that, they are designed to be practical and easy to read with short sidebars on nearly every page, with a strong emphasis on how-to information. They are aimed at the needs of managers at all levels and in all types of organizations who want to create a workplace where people enjoy their work, perform at higher levels, and deliver the goods to customers. CWL was completely responsible for the books in this series—from conception through production.
