1976 Barocco
FRANCE
FRENCH
Director
André Téchiné
Don't know what small part de Lint played in this movie but this is what it's about: The story is about a girl (Isabelle Adjani) that is in love with boxer (Gerard Depardieu). The plan to cheat in a match to get lots of money so they can leave the country but he's killed before the match by his look-alike (also played by Depardieu.) The killer falls in love with Adjani's character who finally accepts him based on his looking like her dead lover. Anyone who enjoyed the chemistry between Depardieu and Adjani in "Camille Claudel" (I loved that one!) will enjoy this earlier film with the both of them.

The complete Derek de Lint filmography was painstakingly reasearched and put together over time from various sources (some of which are NOT - or WERE not at one point - on the web and available to the public) so PLEASE do not copy this and post it on any website. - Thanks! I have no idea if all the info is 100% accurate, if you find a discrepancy, please let me know ASAP!

Thanks to Derek's fellow Dutchman, Richard van Bilsen, again for some of the description information and translations of the titles and for finding some of these titles when they were NOT listed in the International Movie Database. Even more thanks to him for taking the time to scan some b/w pics for use here. Thanks to the us.imdb.com though for help with filling in missing pieces and to the NFF website for more credits info on a few of the Dutch films.
