Tidbit: An almost part in
Town & Country (in production/not yet released) that Derek would have done over the summer hiatus as Diane Keaton's boyfriend but a writer eliminated his part. It's a Warren Beatty, Goldie Hawn, and Diane Keaton film which also features Garry Shandling, Jenna Elfman, and Andie MacDowell. Beatty stars as an unfulfilled husband who has affairs with several women before realizing that he's in love with his wife, played by Keaton.


DIRECTING:

1999 Poltergeist: The Legacy (TV) - "The Portents"
Derek's directorial debut! (Friday, September 17th, 1999 on the Sci Fi Channel) Rachel and Alex investigate the violent death of a young monk and find that the Darkside is planning to unseal a secret portal to hell. This is the "Kristin Returns" episode Derek said he would be directing, with a new title. Guest starring: David Birney.

The Outer Limits: Starcrossed - "High Centurion"
P:TL co-star Helen Shaver directs the episode. Derek de Lint stars as a high officer of an alien regime on earth. Fellow P:TL cast member Robbi Chong is also one of the guest stars. First aired August 13, 1999 on Showtime.

Poltergeist: The Legacy (TV) - "Dr. Derek Rayne"
The first three seasons of this series were created and aired first on Showtime, then syndicated to regular TV markets in USA, Canada and all over the world.
