TOM'S FAMILY

The Schober family lives in the Town of Summit, adjacent and south of Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, which is about 30 miles west of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and about a two hour's drive north of Chicago.

Summit is still very rural, although development is pressing hard. Tom and Patty, and their six children, live on 73 acres, with their three dogs, Barney, Martha and Opie, and five cats: Tiffany, TJ, Molly, Pepper and Kit.

While the Schobers live in the country, they are still close enough to the cities to enjoy the best of both worlds. At home, Tom can fly in and out of his own grass strip. On the other hand, Milwaukee's Mitchell Field is only 35 minutes away. When the Schobers still feel a need to get away, they visit their lake home in Waushara County, near Wild Rose, about 2 hours north.
