Very sad – the Holy Cross church, in Pfeiffer, Russia built around 1902 using the red brick the Volga Germans use for important places – had been destroyed. There is a church in Pfeiffer, Kansas that resembles this church and has been named Holy Cross. In Horbach, Germany, rejuvenating our elbows with Magda
