The Jack Eigel Photographs
This exhibition of 22 16"x20" black and white prints will open on March 18, 2000 and continue through April 22nd. The subject is Jack Eigel, Milwaukee raconteur and man-about-town, well known for his self-actualized fashion sensibility. The photographer is Francis Ford, one of the best known photographers in the Midwest, and this body of work represents a departure from his usual meticulous, carefully thought-out studio work. These photos were taken with a hand-held 35mm camera on location over a period of one-and-a-half years, 1998-99, and exhibit all the incredible technical expertise of Ford's artistry. They also convey an incredible sense of fun. Enjoy.
