| Vents | At the base of your house you should have to ventilation holes for the crawl space. For the summer there is a screen that goes over the space. For winter there is a covered one. Adding a piece of foam insulation to the inside of that cover can help keep cold air out of the crawl space. |
| Stairway Heat | Since heat rises, in the winter months you could find the second floor is warmer than the first. To keep more hot air on the first floor, hang a sheet or curtain across the bottom of the stairway and what will stop the air from climbing the stairway. |
| Heated Floors | Want inexpensive heated floors on the first floor? Buy a milk house heater and put it in the crawl space. The rising heat will make the floors warm. |

| Pipe Cleaning | Once a month, sprinkle baking soda around the inside of your sinks. Then take a coffee pot of hot vinegar and baking soda and pour it down your drains. It will help clean the pipes. | ||
| Sink Screens | Put basket screens in sinks to reduce waste build-up in the drain pipes. | ||
