As part of its Chamber Music Workshop for Adults, the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music will feature a performance by members of the workshop's faculty. Lisette Kielson, flute and recorder, Linda Jones, clarinet, and May Phang, piano, will perform music by Jacques Ibert, Morton Gould, Francis Poulenc, Heitor Villa-Lobos, and C.P.E. Bach. September 1, Green Lake Festival Chamber Choir Tour - Deadline for application for the Choir tour to Vienna, Salzburg, Budapest, and Prague (See May 28 - June 9, 2003 below). This tour is being co-sponsored by the Green Lake Festival of Music and Ripon College, and the choir will be conducted by Kirin Nielsen, assistant professor of music and director of choirs at Ripon College. We wish to assemble a choir of about 30 singers to go on this trip, and will have room for a few non-singing travellers as well. Experienced choral singers who live in or near Wisconsin (i.e. who could commute to Ripon College in east-central Wisconsin for rehearsals in the weeks before we leave) are warmly invited to join us. We need to hear from interested singers by early September, 2002.
