Scott Zieher was born in Waukesha, Wisconsin and graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and Columbia University. He currently lives and works in New York City as an artist, critic, gallerist and poet. He participated in the "Duet Pictures" exhibit at KM art in January, 2000 with Daniel O'Connor. His work shares a concern with Daniel O'Connor's and Steve Morell's in redeeming the mundane, taking found materials and images and recombining them in surprising and beautiful juxtapositions.
