HOW TO GET A Rebec Basset

Call, write or e-mail us for details on availability of puppies or adults.  We will happily answer any questions you may have and send you pictures if you would like.  We want only loving, permanent homes for our Bassets, so we will want quite a bit of information about you, too!  We will send you a questionnaire to complete and send back to us.  Or go to our questionnaire and print it out or fill it out on-line.

In addition, we now require that all puppy buyers purchase a copy of the  Basset Hound Owner´s Guide.  This book is a publication of the Basset Hound Club of America, and is a part of its Basset Hound University education program.  This guide contains information on such topics as Basset Hound personality and physical traits as well as the proper training, grooming and health care of the Basset Hound.  Once you have purchased and read this guide, you will need to complete the included written exercises and send the completed worksheets to the appropriate Basset Hound University staff member.  When you send in your worksheet, indicate you are hoping to purchase a Rebec Basset from us.  You will recieve a Certificate of Completion and we will be notified that you have completed the required course. 

The Basset Hound Owner´s Guide and other Basset Hound University courses are available from the Basset Hound Club of America.  To order, send a check for $18 made out to BHCA-BHU to:

Please remember that we breed for quality, not quantity.  Therefore, you may need to wait to get one of our puppies.  But, our puppies are worth the wait!
