"THAT'S NOT A BASSET HOUND!!!"  You're right!  It's not!!  This is one of our Basset Hound wannabe's.   Sugar is a tri-colored Otterhound, and an extremely striking one if I do say so myself.  Later in life she went deaf as a post and had a little trouble jumping up, but at almost 11, she had no trouble keeping up with the youngsters in the Specials ring at Louisville.  (Mom, on the other hand, was about ready to collapse!)  Sugar left us just shy of her 14th birthday, leaving behind a very large void.
