Levi was the patriarch of Rebec Bassets, the sire of 7 champions and one tracking titleholder.   Levi was a wonderful dog - very sound and with an excellent temperament.  It is Levi's face I see when I look at his great-grandson Louie.  All the bassets currently in residence at Rebec Bassets are descended from Levi.
