1)  The price of $_____________ is to be paid immediately upon purchase of the dog.

2)  The dog is to be registered with the following name:                                                              ____________________________________________________________. 

3)  It is understood that this dog is not to be used for breeding, and that the dog is to be sterilized.  This dog will be registered with an AKC Non-Breeding registration and no offspring of this dog will be eligible for registration with the American Kennel Club.

4)  The sellers(s) will refund to the buyer(s) the sum of $25.00 for each AKC obedience title earned by this dog, including Companion Dog, Companion Dog Excellent, Utility Dog, Utility Dog Excellent, Obedience Trial Champion, Tracking Dog, and Tracking Dog Excellent.

5)  It is understood at the time of the sale that this dog is not considered to be of show or breeding quality, but is representative of its breed and is structurally and temperamentally suited as a companion and/or obedience dog.  Basic training classes are highly recommended for any family pet to insure a happy relationship with the animal.

6)  This dog is guaranteed for 72 hours against any health or temperament irregularities and it is recommended the buyer have the dog examined by a reputable veterinarian during this period. (NOTE:  any dog going into a new home may be a bit unsure of himself until s/he becomes completely familiar with his surroundings.)  A full refund will be given for any dog found unsatisfactory during the first 72 hours.

7)  No other guarantee is given, except in the case of a hereditary or congenital defect which develops to the extent it renders the dog unsuitable as a pet.  In this instance a replacement will be given when one becomes available.

8)  It is understood that the dog is to be a housepet with living quarters in the buyers' house.  He is not to be kept outside either chained or kennelled.  It is understood the dog is to be kept confined and not allowed to run free.  A fenced area for exercise should be provided or a chain may be used for short periods.

9)  It is fully understood at the time of sale that if at any time the buyer(s) should be unable to keep this dog, the sellers must be notified and given the opportunity to take the dog back before any other arrangements can be made.
